There is plenty to see and do in and around hotel, but should you wish to spread your wings and travel a little further afield, you could take a trip to see the New Forest's wild ponies or visit Portsmouth, the Historic Dockyard and the Spinnaker Tower. The nearby Gunwharf Quays development offers a unique blend of outlet shopping, leisure and entertainment in a stunning waterfront location. Also within easy reach for a day trip is Beaulieu, the National Motor Museum. Few car museums in the world can match the unique collection of the world-renowned museum at Beaulieu. The In-Tech Science Centre and Planetarium is a unique hands-on interactive science and technology centre with 100 exhibits to amuse the whole family. Just a short drive from the hotel, Marwell Zoo has over 250 species of animals, including tigers, rhinoceroses, Meer cats, penguins and many more. The zoo also regularly organises family activities.
